My name is Jaclyn, but you may also know me as Jac. I was born and raised in central Ohio, spending most of my life in a small town. With not much to do, my curiosity and admiration for people started at a young age, as did my interest in art. The two have combined naturally over the years, with most of my work reflecting different interpretations of the human experience. Although my subjects mainly consist of women, the emotions and symbolism are meant to bring people of all walks of life into community and common understanding. We all have our own stories, but we tend to lose sight of the struggles and joys that we all share. That's where my passion truly lies: in a world full of division, may my art be an encouragement of unity, reflection, and a compassion for those around us.
